Octagon Hill Farm is
nestled atop five rolling acres just north of the city of Marshall in
south-central Michigan, convenient to both I-69 and I-94. The

The swelling on her right hind cannon bone is likely not a bone cyst as previously thought, but possibly a small bone fragment left from her splint bone surgery last July trying to work it's way to the surface. We thank everyone for their thoughts and kind words during this process, and look forward to continuing Mattie's dressage training as soon as she is able.

April 2009 Update After spending a few months in Howell, Mattie is now back in Marshall, just in time for her fifth birthday in May! Jen is looking forward to working with her during this glorious Michigan spring weather! Our show schedule is still tentative at this point, but check back soon for updates! How do horse people know it's spring? Because there's more hair on us than on our horses! Happy riding! • • • • • • • • • • • • • • •
